  • IIT Patna presently offers Bachelor of Technology programme in the following disciplines

    •Computer Science and Engineering
    •Electrical Engineering
    •Mechanical Engineering

    Aspirants are admitted to this course through IIT JEE exam.The B.Tech programme consists of eight semesters spread over four academic years.Students hailing from financially weak background are provided Merit Cum Means Scholarship on merit. A student takes five to six  theory courses in addition to laboratory courses in each semester. Student performance is evaluated on credit system. Credits are alloted to each course depending on the number of lecturers/tutorials and laboratory hours per week.
